Guided Ice Fishing in Fairbanks
We are now closed for the 2023/24 winter season.
Now accepting bookings for the 2024/25 season.
Daily, I offer two 4 hour trips: 10:00AM and 2:00PM, and a 5 hour night aurora viewing and ice fishing trip at 10:00PM.
Add dog sledding and snowmobile adventures to make an Ultimate combo and save up to $75.00 per person.
I offer dog sledding, snowmobile, and ice fishing adventures from November through early April.
I gladly accept same day bookings but reservations are highly recommended. You can book online up to 3 hours prior to the tour start time. Please call for reservations sooner than 3 hours.
The cold Alaska winter turns our watery playground into an ice fishing kingdom. It may be -30 degrees outside, but my heated deluxe cabins keep you warm as fish tug on our lines. My fishing cabins, with electric and a wood stove, are moveable. This mobility allows us to relocate to different spots to catch more fish.
Guided Alaskan Ice Fishing/ Fairbanks Tours are conducted from November through April. Driving directions will be emailed the night prior.
We target King Salmon, Arctic Grayling, Rainbow Trout, and Arctic Char
Every tour includes licensed guide, deluxe heated cabin to fish in, fishing poles, bait, hot grilled Reindeer Sausage on bun & your fresh fish cooked for lunch, hot cocoa, bottled water, and fish cleaning. The heated cabin has holes in the floor that we fish through. You will fish inside of the heated cabin.
Rod's Alaskan Guide Service practices sustainable fishing methods: You can keep 1 fish per customer for us to cook your fresh fish lunch or you can take 1 fish home. The rest of the fish are released back into the lake to grow and for others to catch another day.

All fishing tours have a 2-person minimum (Single Fisherman can be added on a scheduled tour).
- 4 hour daytime Ice Fishing: Adult $160.00, Child $105.00
- 5 hour Aurora & Ice Fishing (10:00PM-3:00AM) Adult $220.00 Child $195.00
**Children (13 & under) must be accompanied by a paying adult**
**Children under 5 years old are not permitted to participate in ice fishing for safety reasons.**
